A very nice restaurant located in the Hakuba Village. The ramen is delicious and gyoza is also equally good so you need to order both for lunch. They also offer a variety of ramen in soy sauce, miso or bone marrow soup base for your choice. Staff cannot communicate in English so it is quite foreigners friendly.

A must try for those staying in Hakuba. The gyoza is amazing and the ramen is delicious. If you feel hungry I would definitely suggest getting the big bowl it's almost like a challenge if one can finish it. The restaurant does only take bookings from 5-6pm so if you decide to go after be prepared to wait.

Gyoza is good. Many groups ordered the 30 piece party plate. The miso ramen tastes a little diluted.

Party Gyoza (big frypan of 30 gyoza) is the best! Delicious food, good vibe and english speaking staff. They don't take bookings after 6 so recommend getting there right on 6pm so you won't have to wait long for a table.

Beautiful tasty food, a very home cooked vibe. Went for an early lunch to beat the crowds(as this place can get packed), got straight in and was eating within 15 mins. Friendly staff with some nice atmosphere. Make sure you stop in here if you’re in town!!

Great place and delicious food. The staff is fast, friendly and mostly Australians, so you won’t be having any problem with the language. Just know that your clothes will smell a bit of smoke from the tasty wagyu beef you’ll be frying at your table.

Food is amazing and quite cheap, however the service was not very good and quite rude

We only got counter seats as we didn't have a reservation, so didn't get to try the barbeque, but this is clearly a popular restaurant. The gyozas are the highlight! Other than that, they serve decent ramen, curry and fried stuff (katsu, karaage).

Very small restaurant but they’ve got delicious ramen and gyoza around here!

Great atmosphere, lots of room for diners (including private family rooms), and good value for your buck. I had the Shoyu Ramen with extra Chasyu Pork and it was just the thing for a cold night. They have English speaking wait staff, bathrooms and good music. Just remember it’s cash only, and service might be a bit slow if it’s busy. I’ll definitely be returning!

Japanese and English speaking staff. Reservations recommended. The gyoza party platter may sound like a lot but my party of 3 polished it effortlessly. Great for a yakiniku dinner. One of the better meals I had.

Best gyoza in Hakuba, if not all of Japan. We got a party plate (30) of the meat and of the vegetarian dumplings. Truly delicious. So delicious that we ordered another 30. Ramen was also great, but the gyoza really stole the show.

Very straightforward place.As advertised, maybe a little bit expensive as the ramen is pretty simple, although very tasty indeed.Probably one of the better gyōzas I've had.Staff were very friendly and the chance to cook your own meat is also a plus.

Reasonable food, quite cheap. I would avoid the vegetarian gyoza as it's a bit mushy but the meat ones were pretty good. Lively atmosphere and good for a group.

We went here for dinner 2 out of the 7 nights we were in Hakuba. On the second night there was 7 of us and the staff were more than accomodating for such a big group. Their party Goyoza is something that has to be seen and tasted to be believed. OMG. DELICIOUS. Teriyaki grill at the table if you want to have a crack at cooking your own. Nice hot and salty Edemame that can be washed down with the best Cho Hai in Japan. And don't get me started on the Ramen. You will not be disappointed. If there was a 6 star button I'd click it!!!

Have been coming here for 5+ years, this is the Infamous Hakuba staple Gyoza joint. Well known and often overflowing to capacity. For dinner order the party Gyoza, it’s what they do best. Also came in during lunch hour and the ramen was very good too. Always overflowing so you’ll need to book a dinner table well in advance, so plan nights ahead if you wanna tango with this mango. Gyoza is always great.
